About Kelly Liedtke
Kelly Liedtke is an award-winning, internationally recognized artist with a day job. She is active in two galleries near her home on Whidbey Island. At Artworks Gallery she is a commissioned artist member.
Art has always served as a form of therapy, a way to relax and recharge from her busy life as a wife, mother, and small business owner. Ordinary miracles found in nature have always served as her favorite muses. Pen and Ink drawings using pointillism and line-work is her favorite art form, but she also creates using pencil, watercolor, acrylic, stone and clay when a reason and time arises. The nature of her ink drawings is generally full of energy and color while maintaining technical strength and control. Get in close and see those details. Kelly participates in juried art shows at all levels. Here are some of her recent accolades: Lincoln Gallery’s regional juried show in Loveland, Colorado, as Drawing Division Winner 2023; Philadelphia Sketch Club’s juried show 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023, 2024; Pacific Northwest Art School’s juried show 2023 as Honorable Mention, Drawing Division Winner & Poster Design Winner; Sim 20' participant. Her artwork has been featured in the following publications: Colours of Design Magazine 4/23, Wings 2023, Flora and Fauna 2023, and she is very proud to be the featured artist in the upcoming H20 Magazine Autumn 2024. |
