About Judy LaCourse

Judy LaCourse lives on Whidbey Island and finds that the Pacific Northwest offers infinite, dramatic artistic inspiration. Her subjects are derived from her observations of island life: birds, sea life, flowers, sailboats, ferries and tugs, people, lighthouses, beaches, beautiful blue skies, storms, and the activity or quiet serenity of coastal subjects. She works primarily in watercolor and is a member of Artists of South Whidbey and the Evergreen Association of Fine Artists in Bellevue, Washington.
