About Regina Kastler

Regina (Reggie) Kastler has always enjoyed drawing, woodworking, sewing, weaving, stained glass, and fashion design. Her father and grandfather were carpenters and builders of weaving looms and spinning wheels, and her mother was an artist. With this background, color and design came easy. She is passionate about combining natural fibers with hand-dyed colors and creating unique shapes in her basketry. To date, she has created over 18,650 baskets!

Reggie creates custom work for clients that fit their individual needs and artistic tastes. She has been honored to design and create an American Indian ceremonial basket. Because of her love of teaching and sharing, Reggie offers basket weaving workshops for adults and children.
