About K. Madrone Moulton, North Winds Studio
I grew up in an artistic family and have enjoyed being involved with arts and crafts ever since. I am drawn towards crafts-work, and always curious about, “How is that made?”
I learned stained glass and basic woodworking in my teens. Picture framing, gallery work, beading addiction, craft fairs, consignment accounts, studio tours and such have followed. My shadowboxes combine my love of beads and other treasures, with my experience as a picture framer. I like to use materials from around the world, combining them to create harmony. The beauty and peace on Whidbey Island influence me, and I am delighted to express it. |
