About Sarah Silverman-Pucci
Sarah Silverman-Pucci (not related to the comedian) is a Seattle native who spent time in Southern California earning her Bachelor's in Illustration, and a further certification in Scientific Illustration from the University of Washington. She’s always been an artist of sorts, primarily drawing dinosaurs, dragons, and cat people. As a kid she couldn't decide between going into the Navy to be a pilot, studying Paleontology, or doing art for a local media company. Fate would steer her in a different direction and after working numerous odd jobs, she started her cider career. During this time, she continued to paint plants and animals, while honing her sewing and crafting skills. It was those skills (and a few other things) that caught the eye of her now husband and she moved to Oak Harbor to be with him in 2021. He was incredibly supportive of getting her back into art and loved the botanical pieces she painted of the flowers he grew in his garden.
If Sarah's not exploring the great outdoors with her dogs Indiana and Kahn, or curled up on the couch with her cats Ninkasi and Astraea, she’s either painting, working on costumes, attending Star Wars events or some other randomness with her husband and step-daughter. Her favorite medium is watercolor, but also does funny pet portraits in colored pencil, and random things in acrylic, oil, graphite, and gouache. |
